Crazy, cRazy, cRaZy

Ely, Justin and I flew down to Az. in Oct. We got to see my family. The flight was in the morning, Justin slept through the whole flight. Ely did good with the take off, talked him through the noises, he watched "Cars" and had snacks, gave me a special gift.  When we landed I thought he was going to loss it and start screaming and crying, the look of terror in his eyes, but when it landed he started to sign "more, more, more".  The plane had to wait a couple of minutes to dock and Ely then pasted out. We spent one week in Phoenix. Grandma and Grandpa Lee are famous for the doggy door. It took Ely a couple of days to figure it out and he would use it when nobody heard his little knock to let him back in. Learned quick where "Gramma" kept the popsicles. Justin was in love with Grandma. He was happy when she was holding him, would stop crying and just smile at her. Grandpa took us to a train park (we both forgot out cameras) and we rode a little train around. And because it is so hot there they put play areas inside the malls, it is all made out of soft materials. Way cool.

Gram, Jacob, Grandpa, Justin, Tyson, Grandma, Ely, Anthony, Kyle and Eric.

Then we were off to Tuscon for two weeks. Gram, Kendra, James, Anthony and their new addition, Eric. Saw Chanda twice, the boyz (Kyle, Jacob and Tyson) only once.

We went to the Zoo, swimming, made some Halloween and building projects with Gram. Ely loved the purple spiders. Anthony stayed over at Grams and they put up the fort. Kendra and I finally got started on the shirt for Gram that Kendra found. Having fun with paint and baby hands!!

Chuck E Cheese's, that was our first time. Ely loved the broken truck that would not move. At the end Anthony and Ely really enjoyed the ride that made them feel like they were on a roller coaster.
While we played Justin was entertained by his all time favorite buddy, we like to call Buddy #1.

Time just flew. The time was up before I knew it, but way to long with two kids under two to be away from home and Daddy.

This is the cowboy hat that Anthony wear at my wedding.

Ely was running around the airport with the cowboy hat and pj's on waiting for I flight home (we were landing before midnight).

Me, the slacker

Well, I'm still a slacker on this blogging thing. We now have Justin in our family. He joined us in June. Planned on a home birth, almost didn't get to because two weeks before I had him I was in the hospital with a kidney stone. All went well. I had a hard time being away from Ely.

The birth was well worth it, Ely got to see his brother moments after he was born. It was a very special thing. Even helped Daddy cut the cord.

The last time I wrote was a year ago and I just wanted to say sorry. I got to quite work and stay home with Ely (thanks to my wonderful husband). Started looking for houses and found one in caldwell. Cleaned, packed, moved, and cleaned again. We found out that we are expecting. The shock has started to wear off. Due around June 16. Ely has been doing so many things. So glad that I get to see it. Jeremy has been around home working, it has just started to slow down. I'm going to try to be good at posting.

Who could say no to that?

Got to use that tongue!

Got to brush my teeth. NO wait, I mean gums.

What? Me?

Dakota & Kelsey

Dakota and Kelsey played tennis with their school. Dakota didn't want to serve so she would
just keep handing the ball to Kelsey.
Dakota sitting on her racket during the game.
Anthony and Keagan
Nana (Susan), Ely and Aunt Krystee

Game over.

2 Whole months

I can't believe that Ely is already 2 months old. He got his first shots last monday, boy was he upset about that. And still is. He is starting to grab at things. It is quite funny, he will stare at the object and be moving his hand off to the side like he is trying to touch it. It takes a little bit, but his hand does make it over to touch it.

Jeremy got some good pictures with his "little buddy".

Not too sure if we like him yet. Yea, right!!!!

Away from Ely

Jeremy has had to go back out of town these couple of weeks. But only for the week and home for the weekend. That was hard on Jeremy and Ely. Ely would start to fuss around 6pm, that is the time that Jeremy would be home from work and pick him up. Got to love cell phones, sent a video or picture every day. I had my first day back at work, it was only for 5 hours. It was the hardest thing to get out the door. And it was great to get back and see my family.

First 4 wheeler trip

Jeremy, Brad, Susan and I took Ely on his first 4wheeler ride. It was a little windy but loads of sunshine. We went out to the Owhyee mountains. There was even so snow left on the tops of the mountains, Feb 21. Ely enjoyed the ride. When we had stopped to talk, Ely would wake up and start to fuss. So we would start going again, we hadn't even rolled an inch when Ely would stop fussing.

Susan wants to learn how to shoot. So Jeremy is teaching her some basics. She hit her target.

2 Cute

Ely at 4 weeks.

Our new little family

We are having a great time with Ely. I'm stepping down at work. What to spend as much time with Ely that I can. I spend most of my day just watching him. Jeremy gets home and I can't get him to put him down. Although Jeremy does sleep through the late night feedings. Jeremy will start making some grunting nosies in his sleep when Ely is fusing. It is funny, like they have a special code. It is a wonderful thing. Children are a gift.
